What Is This & How Do I Get Paid?
We are recruiting twins & look-alike siblings for a paid research study designed to help improve how AI understands real people and natural human differences. Sessions are available either onsite or from home, depending on your location.
Each sibling participates separately and completes their own guided recording session. After completing a session you will receive a VISA debit card within 3-5 days (can be used as a credit card or transferred as a cash balance). Note: Both siblings must complete the study to receive payment.
No experience is needed, a trained moderator will guide you through everything step-by-step. All sessions are audio and video recorded for research purposes.

Are session times flexible?

Yes. We offer flexible scheduling throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, with available time slots typically between 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Depending on your location, you may also have the option to complete the study from home instead of visiting an onsite location. Our moderator team will work with you to schedule a time that fits your availability.
How soon do I get paid after I complete the study?

Payments are typically sent within 3–5 business days after successfully completing your study session.
Compensation is delivered to the email address you provided using a Tremendous Visa prepaid debit card. The card can be used online anywhere Visa is accepted or transferred to services like Venmo for cash access (transfer fees may apply).

Is there parking onsite?

Yes. Most onsite locations have nearby street parking available. Specific parking instructions and arrival details will be provided before your scheduled session.
What will I be asked to do during the session?

Studies are usually 60-120 minutes where you will be asked to:
1. Read Short Prompts
Read brief on-screen prompts aloud at your own pace. No memorization — just natural reading in your normal voice.
2. Speak Naturally
Talk in your own words or you may be asked to follow a script on simple guided topics. Use your natural speaking voice and cadence.
3. Basic Facial Expressions
Make simple, natural facial expressions — smiling, neutral, surprised. No acting skills needed, just be yourself.
4. Everyday Movements
Complete simple, everyday movements and gestures as guided. Nothing physical or strenuous, just natural, routine actions. Typically a review of the prompts and actions will be sent to you via email before your session, but you do not need to memorize this.
Note: As twins or look-alike siblings, each participant completes one session on their own.
Will I be recorded?

Yes. All sessions are audio and video recorded for research and data collection purposes.
All recordings are collected through responsible research and data collection practices, and are never sold or shared publicly.
What should I bring?

Required: A valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID). All participants must present a valid ID before the session begins.
Recommended: Wear solid-colored clothing and arrive with your hair as you normally wear it. No other preparation needed.
What's the difference between On site vs. At-home sessions?

Onsite Sessions: Visit a designated recording location in your city. Sessions take place in a professional, controlled environment with trained moderators available to guide and support you throughout the process.
At-Home: Complete your session from home with the assistance of one or two moderators who will guide the recording process onsite at your residence. At-home sessions typically offer higher compensation to account for the use of your personal space.
Why are siblings important in AI research?
